History

The Texas A&M Ergo Center was originally approved by the Texas A&M Board of Regents in 1996 within the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station. In 2012, the Center was transferred to function within the Texas A&M School of Public Health, however, the vision and mission of the center remained virtually unchanged. Currently, the Ergo Center is led by Executive Director, Dr. Mark Benden, and Managing Director, Dr. Adam Pickens.

Recently, the Center has added affiliated faculty from multiple disciplines for collaboration opportunities.  For more information about Ergo Center faculty, please visit the Faculty page.
