• Dr. Le’s Why 

Growing up in an impoverished Californian neighborhood with a single mother who was a Vietnamese refugee, I developed a deep understanding of and respect for the nation’s traditionally invisible populations. My research focuses on these overlooked workers and their organizations and looks to support healthier behaviors. 

• Favorite project  

My favorite consulting experience was developing training for National Disaster Medical System personnel on Level C PPE donning and doffing in the event of a respiratory outbreak. I also created additional education/training modules on how to package waste contaminated with suspected or confirmed high consequence pathogens, as well as how to identify, package, and transport highly infectious decedent remains.
